Dark Intentions, pt. 2

Sonic woke up. He noticed he was on a bed in a dark room. "Was it all a dream?" he asked himself. He looked around the room for a while. He didn't recognize anything that was there. "Where am I?" he thought.

"So you're awake…about time." a voice sounded. Sonic looked around frantic. "If only you could see your face. Priceless."  it chuckled.

"Show yourself coward!" Sonic yelled. Mephiles appeared in front of him with the same, evil grin. "…On second thought, take your ugly mug and go back into the darkness will ya." Sonic replied with hints of fear in his voice. Mephiles walked closer to Sonic and grabbed his chin.

"I've waited for this moment for a long time." Mephiles whispered to Sonic. " Do you know what it's like to outlive everyone from eons ago, Sonic?" he asked.

"Only chili dogs." Sonic answered trying to calm himself down.

"………Never being able to love someone…because in the end, they become old while you are still young. To have someone hate you for immortality…

"Is this going anywhere?" Sonic asked rather impatient. Mephiles bit Sonic's wounded arm causing Sonic to scream. Mephiles released the blood still trailing down from his mouth.

"I don't know why I am doing this. Why I am trying to hurt myself again." he continued. He kissed Sonic tenderly. The taste of iron from his blood mingling with the taste of Sonic's tongue. When the kiss was released Mephiles sighed. "Why am I attracted to you?…………Like so many others before you." he muttered.

"Mephiles…you all right?" Sonic asked.

"No…" he answered.

"Mephiles…it's okay." Sonic said. "We can be friends. I-"

"It's not about being "friends", Sonic!" he yelled pinning down Sonic. "…Sonic, I love you." he spoke softly. There was silence as Sonic looked up at Mephiles. "……Maybe…this wasn't a good idea."

"No…" sonic responded. Mephiles looked at Sonic. "I-I have had feeling for you too. Even though I…"killed"…you and you "killed" me. "So you…telling me you love me…even though I'm also a boy. Makes me happy." he finished. He kissed Mephiles on the cheek. "I love you too, Mephiles." he finished.

"And I you, Sonic." he replied. The two kissed again with Mephiles removing his hands from Sonic's arm. He smiled. "Easier than I expected. Once he trusts me well enough, I'll use him. To shape the world,how I see fit. Then dispose of him." Mephiles thought.
